In Hamburg’s theatre at the harbour is playing the musical „The Lion King“ by Elton John and Tim Rice. Being a huge success, the musical is based on the famous animation movie by Walt Disney. It’s always sold out! The musical gets the audience immediately going when the rhythms of Africa sound at the speakers and the animal world of the Serengeti appears on stage.
For many visitors the adventure already starts when taking over to the theatre on the Lion King’s boat. The musical has been over 70 times internationally awarded and is regarded the most successful musical of all times.
